Ricky Dickinson remembers the day that his older brother, Wyndell, broke into a parked car to steal from it. Unfortunately for Wyndell, he was caught in the act by Spider-Man. The sight of the hero scared Ricky to the point that he fled the scene, leaving Wyndell to deal with the wall-crawler alone. After webbing up Wyndell and catching up to Ricky, the boy begged Spider-Man to not hurt him, agreeing to confess to the crime in return, which he did once the police arrived. After the Dickinson brothers were arraigned, Wyndell was furious. Wyndell, refusing to go to prison, told Ricky that he was leaving, promising him that should he get caught, the younger brother would be sorry. Left to stand trial alone, Ricky pled guilty and was given a suspended sentence because of his age. He soon after went to college and eventually got a job as an assistant manager at the Johnson Scott Company. Though his records were sealed because he was a minor at the time of the crime, Ricky kept a low profile, keeping his co-workers at arm’s length in order to keep his troubled past a secret.
