While searching for the assassins known as Knight and Fogg in Liverpool, England, Peter Parker has been stricken with amnesia. Incidentally enough, he ends up working on the boat owned by Knight’s younger brother, Leo Knight. Leo and his assistant Scott are impressed by the mystery man’s great strength. As he is working, Peter’s spider-sense goes off as Evelyn and Edgar Fogg go by. No longer remembering what his spider-sense is, Peter is confused, and it is suggested that he go into the nearby pub to get something to eat. When Peter and Scott are gone, Leo goes below deck. There he goes into his trunk and looks at the Spider-Man costume he has hidden there. He recalls how he was the only one who saw this costume when he pulled the wall-crawler out of the water. He finds himself conflicted between doing the right thing or being loyal to his brother Malcolm Knight.
